Frequently asked questions

If your question is not here, call 0275012825 and we will talk it through.

How long does a facial take?

Most facials run between 45 and 75 minutes, depending on the treatment and any add-ons you choose. A first visit usually takes a little longer because we talk through your skin and what you want to get out of it. If you are short on time, let us know when you book and we will suggest a treatment that fits.

How often should I book a facial?

For general skin health, once every four to six weeks works well because it lines up with your skin's natural renewal cycle. If you are working on a specific concern like congestion or dryness, we may suggest a closer run of appointments to start, then space them out. There is no pressure to commit to a plan, and we are happy to keep it as an occasional treat.

Do I need to prepare my skin before a treatment?

Come with clean skin if you can, but it is fine if you are wearing makeup because we cleanse first anyway. Avoid strong exfoliants, retinol, or waxing in the two or three days before a facial so your skin is calm on the day. If you have had recent sun exposure or a reaction to a product, mention it when you arrive.

Is tinting or hair removal safe for sensitive skin?

Yes, in most cases, and we do a patch test before your first tint so we can check for any reaction. We use gentle products and adjust the approach for delicate or reactive skin. If you have very sensitive skin or a known allergy, tell us beforehand and we will plan around it.

What is the difference between a basic facial and a personalised one?

A basic facial follows a set routine of cleanse, exfoliate, treat, and hydrate, and it is a lovely reset for most skin. A personalised facial starts with a proper look at your skin and is tailored to what it needs that day, so the products and steps change from visit to visit. If you are not sure which to pick, we will guide you once we see your skin.

Can I combine treatments in one appointment?

Yes, combining works well and often saves you money compared with booking separately. A common pairing is a facial with brow tinting or a small hair removal service while your mask develops. Let us know what you are after and we will build a combo that flows nicely in the time you have.

What should I do after a facial?

Keep things simple for the rest of the day: drink water, skip heavy makeup, and avoid the gym, sauna, or direct sun for a few hours. Your skin may look a little pink straight after some treatments, and that settles quickly. We will give you a couple of easy pointers based on the treatment you had.

How do I book, and what if I need to reschedule?

You can book by phone or message, and because this is a private studio each appointment is one on one. If something comes up, just give us as much notice as you can so we can offer the slot to someone else. We understand life happens, and a quick heads up is all we ask.
